With a Platinum debut album, chart-topping singles & videos, a movie role and international colades all under his belt, singer/dancer/songwriter/producer Shawn Desman is back for more. Shawn Desman is making his long-awaited performing return to Toronto to promote his new hit single "Electric/Night Like This".
Saturday January 22nd 2011, Shawn Desman will be at The Luxy Night Club located directly across from the AMC Theatres in Woodbridge, not far from where the 400 and 407 highways meet. Located just outside Toronto, Luxy Nightclub in Woodbridge consistently draws visitors and partygoers on a regular basis for its weekly Thursday, Friday and Saturday night parties. Special events and long weekends are also big occasions at Luxy Nightclub, as people come from all areas of the city to party in this widely respected and loved venue.
The first single "Shiver" was released onto iTunes on February 23, 2010. It has since reached #18 on the Canadian Hot 100. Shawn tweeted on his official Twitter page that his upcoming album Fresh is
due out in early June 2010. Later on May 28, Shawn tweeted that he had just finished mastering his second single, entitled "Night Like This". Since then the single was released and has peaked at #22 on the Canadian Hot 100. His third studio album Fresh was released on August 3 in Canada and August 10 in US. Just last week, The "Electric/Night Like This" music video topped Much Music's top 10 music videos. Currently sitting at number one for the week.
